The Vision
Threnic was born from a simple problem: creating high-quality, professional lyric videos for music is either too expensive or too time-consuming. We wanted to build a tool that bridges the gap between static lyric videos and high-end 3D motion graphics, giving independent artists the power to visualize their music with cinematic precision.
The Technology
Unlike traditional video editors that rely on CPU-heavy rendering, Threnic is built from the ground up using Next.js 16 and Three.js (React Three Fiber). By leveraging the browser's GPU, we achieve real-time, audio-reactive 3D visuals that would normally require hours of rendering in desktop software like After Effects.
Our proprietary WebCodecs export engine allows for hardware-accelerated encoding up to 4K at 60fps, directly in your browser, ensuring your creations are ready for YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram in minutes.
