01. Introduction

Welcome to Threnic, a service provided by NXN Technologies LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy applies to all information collected through our website and any related services.

02. Information We Collect

A. Personal Information You Disclose

For authenticated users, we collect the minimal personal information necessary to manage your account. This includes:

  • > Identity Data (Email, Password)
  • > Compliance Data (Legal agreement records)
  • > Billing Data (subscription status and a payment-processor customer reference)

D. Payment Information

Paid plans are processed by our payment processor, Stripe, Inc. When you purchase a plan, your payment card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe under its own privacy policy. We do not collect or store your full payment card number. We retain only a Stripe customer/subscription reference and your current plan status in order to provide and manage your subscription.

B. Information Automatically Collected

When you navigate the Services, we may automatically collect certain computing information, such as IP addresses, browser characteristics, and information about how you use our Services (e.g., rendering performance).

We use Amazon Pinpoint via AWS Amplify Analytics, a first-party analytics service hosted entirely within our own AWS infrastructure, to understand how the Service is used. This system does not use third-party trackers, does not track you across other websites, and anonymizes IP addresses. We record aggregated interaction events — such as audio playback, applying presets, using the AI Director, and starting or completing exports — to improve the product. This data is stored in our own AWS account and is not sold or shared for advertising.

C. Audio and Visual Data Handling

Threnic processes audio files and generates video renderings locally within your browser whenever possible. Your raw audio files are not uploaded to our servers unless a cloud-based feature explicitly requires it.

03. Cookies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies (like web beacons and pixels) to access or store information. Specific information about how we use such technologies and how you can refuse certain cookies is set out in our Cookie Notice.

04. Data Usage & Sharing

We use your information to provide the Service, improve our rendering technology, and communicate vital updates. We do not sell your personal information. We only share data with essential service providers (e.g., AWS and Stripe for payment processing) required to operate the system and process payments.

05. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect your data. However, please remember that no electronic transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
