Threnic is a browser-based, GPU-accelerated music visualizer that reacts to your audio in real time. It maps bass, mid, and high frequencies straight onto visual effect parameters using WebGL/WebGPU shaders, so the visuals breathe with the track — then exports the result as a clean MP4.
Real frequency data, real reactivity
Threnic runs an FFT on your audio and exposes the bass, mid, and high bands as drivers you can wire into any effect. Make bloom intensity pulse with the kick, chromatic aberration flicker on hi-hats, or particle motion swell on the low end. Because it's shader-based and GPU-accelerated, it stays at a smooth frame rate even with a deep effect stack.
This is a builder's tool as much as an artist's. The reactivity is parameterized — intensity, speed, frequency band, thresholds — so you can dial in exactly how the visuals respond instead of picking a fixed preset.
