Browser lyric video maker — no download, no install

Threnic is a full lyric video maker that runs entirely in your web browser. There is nothing to download and nothing to install — open the page, load your song, and start making a video on any desktop with Chrome, Edge, Brave, or Opera.

Nothing to install

Desktop lyric video software means gigabytes of download, license keys, and OS-specific installers. Threnic skips all of that. It is a web app: the editor, the real-time preview, the effect engine, and the video exporter all run inside the browser tab. You can be timing your first line within seconds of opening the page.

Everything runs on your machine — Threnic uses your computer's GPU through WebGL and the WebCodecs API rather than a remote server. That means no render queue, no waiting for a cloud slot, and no re-uploading a 40MB WAV every time you tweak a font.

What runs in the tab

  • Real-time GPU preview of lyrics, background, and effects
  • LRC synced-lyric import and a stamp hotkey for manual timing
  • Audio-reactive effects that respond to bass, mid, and high frequencies
  • Hardware video export to MP4 — up to 4K on Pro
  • Local project save so you can close the tab and come back later

What you need

Threnic needs a Chromium-based desktop browser (Chrome, Edge, Brave, or Opera) version 94 or newer, because export relies on WebCodecs, which Firefox and Safari do not yet support. Any computer with a GPU capable of WebGL 2.0 — essentially anything bought after 2018 — will run the editor. It is a desktop tool; phones and most tablets do not have the memory or GPU headroom for real-time 4K rendering.
