Lyric video maker for musicians and your own song
Threnic is a lyric video maker built for the artist releasing their own music. Load your track, time the words to the beat, and export a professional video you fully own — no watermark, no cloud upload, and nothing installed.
Made for the person releasing the track
You wrote the song, you're dropping it Friday, and you need a lyric video that looks like it cost money. Threnic gives you precise word-by-word timing, real-time preview, and an audio-reactive engine so the visuals actually move with your mix — bloom pulsing on the kick, grain flickering on the hats — instead of static text on a stock loop.
You keep full ownership of the export. As long as you own or license the audio and imagery, you can distribute the video commercially anywhere: YouTube, Spotify Canvas, Instagram, TikTok, or paid distribution.
Timing that fits how you work
- Import an LRC file to auto-place every line at its timestamp
- Or paste plain lyrics and stamp timing live with a hotkey
- Per-word highlighting synced to the vocal
- Real-time preview so you hear and see the sync together
Release-ready output
Export up to 4K at 60fps, watermark-free, as an MP4 with your original audio. Threnic is free and open source, so there is nothing to pay at any step.
